Default Kings Regt

This Kings Regt badge has a brass horse over a WM scroll. I've not come across this combination before - anyone know if it's a fake fantasy badge?
Thanks,
Glyn

Glyn,

I do have a genuine reversed metal collar badge ( sadly missing its tail ), so, even though I have never seen one, in theory reversed metal cap badges should exist.

I dont usually comment on members badges but I am afraid yours is one of a whole series of dud badges which can be found in all white metal, all brass, bi metal, bronze, blackened brass and as in the case of your badge, reversed metals.

Peter

Thanks Peter. What are the signs that show it's a fake?

Glyn,

There have been previous threads on these badges, this is one:

I will try and find some of the others.

Peter
