I've brought this old post back as I recently purchased this SAS wing which matches the one posted here previously which no one seems to have commented on back in 2012. Are these original period Italian made British SAS wing?

Hi nice wings I got a similar one that came with an Egyptian made SASberet badge.Mine has a slightly different design/canopy. So presumably made in Cairo. Cheers,JB

Thanks for the information and photograph. It does look close with the exception of the thickness of the black separating threading in the wings and the thickness and arraignment of the white shroud lines.
