Yes! They are indeed a lovely set! Thanks for posting them, Mick!

Try comparing them to these "variations" currently on eBay to see just how nice they are........120923736807 and 120923738830. (I do wish I knew how to attach a direct link.)

I guess it's each to his own as a surprising number of people have already placed bids on them but I don't think I shall be doing so.

I am wondering where the vendor got his history of the 2/16's role in WW2.

I wouldn't touch either myself - the cast one looks like a really dodgy copy.
