There have been a few Royal Irish Rangers badges with N/S lugs on eBay recently, described as belt plate badges, could they be sporran badges?

Hi Leigh, Thanks I just looked at my belt buckle the N S lugs are flat and quite short, so not sure if they are able to be Purse/Sporran badges. however I'm not dismissing your suggestion it's certainly possible. regards John

ROYAL IRISH RANGERS
The Royal Irish Rangers cap badge (left) with lugs E&W. Belt plate badge (middle) short square lugs N&S. And Royal Irish Regiment sporran badge (right) with slightly longer lugs than the cap badge, fitted N&S. The sporran badge is not of great quality, not sure if recent issue have in proved any.

Ta - looks like the ones I've seen on evilbay are actually belt plate badges.
