Take a fake 'early pattern' MGC (fat guns) or MMG without scroll... and glue/weld/solder an RA 'separate wheel'....
Bonkers.... And the price!! |

This rubbish comes from a seller on ebay all the time. He is an out and out charlatan as they are complete fakes.

Badge may be fake but the unit Motor Machine Gun Battery(s) was real.

This title was brought back from the subcontinent by a friend some years ago. Any thoughts about its authenticity? I know there were MGC(M) batteries in India and Mespot, but I haven't seen other examples of this 'all in one' title.

MGC/M
From the look of the loops on the reverse, this badge is typical of a locally made title. As to when it was made is anybody's guess, but as there are not lots appearing online and at Fairs, I suspect it is an original item.
Only an opinion of course . . ! Rob Last edited by Sonofacqms; 28-06-11 at 09:35 PM. |

Thanks, Rob. I agree, not something commonly seen, hence my enquiry.

MGC/M and MGC/C
Here are two examples I have for reference. One "M" and one "C" I agree that the one shown above has all the hallmarks of a good one, and believe mine are "real". Any comments appreciated!

Thanks, Neil. It seems that cast versions were indeed 'all in one'.
