Default Unknown collar badges

Hi all, in with a group of officers silver collar badges, these two remained unidentified.l have however identified one as the South African Women's Auxillary Army Corps. The gold coloured one remains a mystery. Can anyone help?
Thanks
John

The gold coloured one on the right is from Plymouth. Probably transport related.

Plymouth Corporation Tramways :

"Plymouth Corporation municipal shield badges, as worn on the caps and collars — brass and chrome. The brass badge would have been in use from around the turn of the century to the 1930s, after which a switch was made to chrome insignia."

South African Womens Auxiliary Army Service.
It's a blackened badge, so I think that's an officers collar dog.

Thanks Leigh. Is the collar badge the same size as the cap badge?

I believe so but I'm not 100% sure, one for the SA section forumites I'm afraid.

Not officer specific. Blackened badges in SA context usually indicates form of dress. In this case it would be the khaki drill tunic as worn by other ranks, but could also be worn by officers.

The same badge in gilding metal was worn on the olive drab gaberdine officers tunic. In some instances though, gilding metal badges have been seen worn by other ranks on the khaki drill tunic, but this was not the norm.
