Default Unknown shoulder boards help please ?

Hi all
once again i have found something that is not in my area of collecting ,so can any on give my some advice to what rank and what area these boards are ?

Thanks but I am not familiar with the Lothians ? Any other thoughts on these as I do see a thistle on the boards.

I think they are the shoulder boards worn by Scottish Lords Lieutenant. Try a Google search for images of them being worn.

Looks like you could be right . Is there away to find out what period these would be and what they are worth??

Could they be Royal Scots Greys bandsmen’s ? I think I saw something on the British Empire site
