Default Badge that looks a bit like York and Lancaster Reg...

Hello,

I have a growing collection of postcards of British soldiers from various regiments and have recently been trying to ensure that I have correctly identified them all.

I hoped members of this forum could help confirm if the attached two images are the York and Lancaster regiment, or if not which regiments do they represent? The badge doesn't look quite right to me, however, I can't find anything more likely in the Doyle and Foster book (other than perhaps West Somerset Yeomanry at a push...). Additionally the collar badge doesn't look like York and Lancaster to me either.

Full disclosure, I have quite a number of better York and Lancaster cards so if these do prove to be that regiment I will likely sell them.

Many thanks!
Giles
