This selection also look they came straight out of stores and were not lovingly crafted from spoons….

The veteran badge Bob is referring to is the ‘association’ version differentiated by having the word “COMMANDO” scrolled over the top

A 2 Cdo vet has told me that all the time he was in the unit from Spring 43 to Disbandment no-body made their own OR badges, they all came straight out of stores

The attached badge looks the same but I think is a common Ebay trade of the mill. Difference with Geoff Newman badge is that his SS are solid no hollow back.
