Lot of Badges etc to a V Force Officer
Pictured below is a lot of badges etc that I picked up this morning. Lot includes 2 x RTR ORs cap badges (one missing one lug), an RTR Officers bronze collar badge, a Lancashire Fusiliers OSD bronze cap badge, a matched pair of silver/gilt Lancashire Fusiliers shoulder titles, several rank pips and crowns, a quantity of Lancashire Fusiliers offficers buttons, a PTI cloth arm badge, three Captains rank slip ons, a medal ribbon bar, several coins, a broken cast brass KAR cap badge. what I assume is a Lancashire Fusiliers lanyard, a few assorted buttons from a denim battledress and nicest of all, a 100% genuine V Force Officers cast (?) bronze cap badge with a single vertical blade type fitting. I supect that the original wearer was a Trooper from the RTR who commisioned into the Lancashire Fusiliers prior to serving with V Force. Sadly no name ! The original badge is quite a bit larger than the copy badge which I have put alongside the real thing to show size comaprison. They are up for grabs if any serious SF collector out there is interested !
