Which Fusiliers?
Hi,
Can anybody tell by their cap badges and insignia which regiment these two are from. I am guessing they are some form of fusiliers! Thanks, Father1st. Last edited by Father1st; 14-05-12 at 08:42 PM.

Agreed, Grenadier Guards, the position of the cap badge looks interesting.

I'd also say Grenadier Guards. The peak is 'slashed' and the cap badge is placed higher. I've seen similar pictures to this. I think one might be in Brian Davis's book.

Unanimous then, seems fairly conclusive to me.  Those hat's are pretty tall and peaked aren't they! I hadn't noticed that, but I am still new to all this military stuff. Thanks again everybody. Regards, Father1st.

Yes Grenadier Guardsmen in utility pattern BD with exposed buttons. Collar pressed back for wear with shirt and tie for "walking out", note also shoes not boots. Photo probably taken around 1946 - 1948 perhaps in post war Germany?
