Default Lieutenant Colonel Robert Scobie - 4th Infantry Regiment

Pre war portrait of Lieutenant Colonel (Lieut Col) Robert Scobie in peace time uniform, on his cap he is wearing the badge of the 4th Infantry Regiment c 1895 - 1900. Lieut Col Scobie was later Commanding Officer of the 2nd Battalion and was killed in action on 6 August 1915, age 44 years.

I have only ever seen it in Grebert's badge book. He mentions in his book that it was worn from 1883 to 1903.
