ASC title
I am wondering if this title could be for Australian Staff Corps. It has flat triangular-shaped loops at back
Appreciate confirmation as to i.d. GTB |

I believe it is Australian but stands for "Army Service Corps" and was worn above a curved "Australia" title.

Cant help you out there... maybe one of the Aussie collectors would be able to assist. I do believe that these were worn during WWI

Yes, and I have since Googled and found that this title was used prior to 1915. Thanks for your assistance.

We had a thread about these WW1 titles before. They were worn above the AUSTRALIA title by the AIF until they were replaced in 1916 by colour patches. There were a lot of different patterns, many of which are quite rare. Others include AMC,FA, LH, INF, LHFA, AFC, ENGRS, NBT, AVC, many others.
