Default walts

I have read all through this post and I wonder what you would say about my wifes medals. She served in the RAF in Singapore at RAF Seleta. She was awarded the general service medal, Malay Peninsular bar. and a few years ago she went to Salisbury U.K. t.o receive the PJM medal from a Malasian General.
My wife has carried the British legion standard on Remberance day for 40 years, this year was the last time because the branch is folding up. I am very proud of my wifes service in the RAF and her years of carrying the standard.
Some people have said to her that she shouldnt wear the PJM medal because it is a piece of "Bling", but HM the Queen sanctioned the award of this medal so I told her to ignore the comments and to carry on wearing it. I would really object if someone called her a Walt, John

I dont think anyone would call an ex serviceman or women wearing the medals they are entitled to a Walt.

A Walt is someone who wears medals they are NOT entitled to.

But I don't think I would describe it as 'a base bound b----d'. Would you?
He is still entitled to wear his campaign medals, etc. if any.
