Default Logistics Slip ons...

Recently a couple of sets of CF DEU shirt sleeve slip-ons were auctioned on ebay. They had the embroidered full colour branch cap badge sewn on the slip on over Canada. What was the purpose / use for these? I was under the impression that the LOG Branch used the LOG slip-ons?

The Logistics Branch does use the LOG slip-ons, as DT notes. I can ask our RQMS who has ties to CFB Borden and may be able to sniff around with regards to the badge-embroidered slip-ons. Sounds interesting. I've never seen such a thing before.

Aides-de-Camp in Alberta wear the provincial seal (I believe that is the insignia) on the epaulette of DEU jackets, a small metal badge. I have no idea if that is apropros of anything.
