Default Canadian Army Cadets badge

Hi All
I picked up this badge the other day and would like to know if it's genuine, when it was in use, worth anything etc
Appreciate any opinions, thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Alex

Hi Jim
Thanks, that's good news. Just cost me the equivalent of a few dollars, so a good buy!
Cheers,
Alex

Hi Alex, Thanks for posting the image. This badge was an economy issue plastic badge, that as Jim indicated is of Second World War vintage.
I have cross posted this to the thread on the the POWR "plastic" badge. Your images are an excellent reference that show the back of the plastic badge.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for posting and well done on your new find. I have seen a few of these but this is the first time I have seen a plastic/economy version.

Cheers, Roy.
