Default Cap badge of the Norfolk Yeomanry

Hi, I am collecting british cap badges of the 2nd Army WW2.
The one needed to complete my collection is The Norfolk Yeomanry.
I found one on ebay.co.uk but the design is different from the usual cap badge.
It is the correct cipher of King George VI with the king's crown but instead of having a slider or loops the cipher is mounted on a clasp with a needle at the backside. Could this be a genuine cap badge or did this serve other purposes ?
Thanks in advance for any clues.
