I was watching this shoulder title and based on the round footed lugs I am sure that is example is a dud. However, did this unit ever wear such titles if only unofficially? Is it based on a real shoulder title or is it a fantasy item?

Westlake shows it as "241" but in white metal.

Thank you for your input. I notice that both examples offered for sale have the same big footed lugs.

I bought one of these titles some 20+ years ago for £1.00, the unit was a reasonably short-lived one and as Westlake says made in white metal.
I have a feeling that a whole lot may have been made in the wrong material and sold off wholesale as I remember they were abundant around that time. The cloth shoulder title is quite common and I think it may have been worn in place of the metal title. Dealers are now asking £15-16.00 for them, so I will keep my £1.00's worth out of curiosity.
