LdSH(RC)
There is a LdSH(RC) collar badge currently on offer on eBay that is described as a WWII LdSH(RC) Night Badge (Item No. 150342650323) It looks to me like an OSD bronze badge but this dealer must have put his imagination into fifth gear trying to figure out why this particular badge was a darker colour than the normal ORs' brass one. He gets full marks for originality but zero for accuracy. This is what happens when know-nothing antiques dealers try to pass themselves off as experts in militaria.

I'm sure you haven't had time to check the very unusual and "rare" "1953 Pre Cloth SDG Fencibles" or the "X" Cameron Highlanders and the the unique "Argyll and Southerland(sic) Hldrs" badges..........from one of the "greatest militaria collection of WW2 Canadian combatant (sic)..........?????

Their knowledge of militaria is almost as inflated as their greed.

So if it's not a night badge?? what is it?? Certainly it must be a badge used for the night fighters, after all, the usual white medal badges would be very reflective and unsuitable for the night fighters.
As for the realized price, I guess there was a bit of a bidding war, whereby the winner was the winner hands down.
