Joint Force HQ
Gents I have the attached embroidered example as the Joint Force Headquarters, however, I recently acquired a fully woven example facing to the left.
Is this just a variation? Any info welcomed. Bess |

They are found with the Thompson pointing left and right. However as a formation badge it should now be worn on the left arm with the Thompson pointing forward. Early versions (pointing right) for PJHQ and JHQ shown below. Current versions (pointing left) for Joint Forces Command now titled Strategic Command (UKSTRATCOM)

Then there is this one for Standing Joint Force HQ or PJHQ? with Thompson pointing left and eagle (as in RAF practice) looking to the rear.
