Default Royal Marines query

This isn’t mine but I said I would try to find out something about it.
1.5 x 1.25 inches size wise and looks to be plastic?
I know there are Bakelite Kings crown badges but this is Queens crown and I’ve not seen this type of reverse fixing before but that’s not surprising to be honest because my knowledge of badges is somewhat limited!
Can I ask was it ever worn by the Royal Marines and if so by whom and when?
All information gratefully received.
As I mentioned the badge is not mine but it will probably be made available for sale at a later stage.
Many thanks in advance

Definately not an issue badge. Possibly an old comrades tie badge or something like that.

Unfortunately just a plastic copy of a RM beret badge that was worn on the beret of a child’s dressing up uniform.
