The VBC "coin" and other items belonging to Corporal Albert Millar 463 of the 3rd Victorian Bushman Contingent were purchased by me at a farm sale just north of Kerang in Victoria (Aust.) in 2005. They are now on display in the Australian Armour and Artillery Museum in Cairns.

Kingsley's recollection of the discussions around the coin years ago are correct, at this stage I can still only assume it was an unofficial hat badge because of the lugs.
