Highland Light Infantry TF
Hello Folks,
Could I get some opinions on this HLI TF badge please . Flat lugs and pointed ends, rather than curved, east to west makes me suspicious. Kind regards, Jim. |

A nice badge.
If unhappy I’ll gladly relieve you of it . |

have a look at this thread:
https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...ad.php?t=80193 Check with a magnet if your badge has a ferrous metal content, it has the same flat lugs as my four badges. Tim

Its the only one I have Luke. It came amongst a batch of other TF and volunteer badges that I have had mixed results from. I am over the moon that both Alan and yourself confirm that its good. I have some others that I would like to confirm. Thanks.
Kind regards, Jim. |

Thanks Tim,
I will give that a try when I can find a magnet. Regards, Jim. |

For reference this is form a fake die with a goggle-eyed elephant and a long blank scroll that has been cut that way and not had the lettering erased. Being in brass is a 100% sign it is a fake.

It’s genuine in my opinion too. PY.

A genuine all brass one would be a totally new thing so that's an interesting statement as it flies in the face of everything we know about such badges.
