Default 1st Volunteer battalion Hampshire Regiment cap badge...A Fake?
Hi All, I have found this badge: (1st Volunteer battalion, The Hampshire Regiment) on ebay and I wanted to know if all these type of Plaque badges are indeed FAKE?

Yes, I know "I do not think this is an original badge so sold as a copy" I did read this. But I was asking the question if all "Plaque" type badges like this one are considered to be FAKE'S?

Mick, I think by saying plaques you mean the additional scroll below the badge, there are original badges with the extra scroll and South African honours, sadly I don't think in this case this badge is one of them.

Yes Rob, I meant Scroll/Plaque. As I have some of these badges and I have been told they are all FAKE'S. So I just wanted to check if that was true or not.

The one shown is near identical to one sold at Bosleys earlier this year. However since then at least a dozen copies have appeared on ebay so I an suspicious about this one too.
