Lovely badge
Lovely etc etc etc item # 373541506234 on the well known auction site is described as a Lovely badge. I’m curious as to the dealer’s intent in describing all his badges thus. Is this a code known only to the chosen ones? I’ve searched the dealer’s name on the forum but cannot find it. Maybe I’m putting the wrong words in the search window? Can members explain? D.J.

DJ, the seller comes up fairly regularly...no secret code or etc. his stuff are just a lot of duff badges. Try forum searches (or Google for the 3 letter terms) on Lovely, Ron Collection, Old School. No worries mate, ya ain’t missing anything with this guy!

Straight answer from anyone?
The problem with these threads is they lead nowhere.
If someone new to badge collecting like me wants to avoid possible dodgy sellers like 'Ron', we need straight information. These threads just go round in circles never actually mentioning who this person is, or which site on ebay to avoid. All the ebay links in these threads come up as 'cannot be found'. And as for suggesting 'just google Ron collection' etc; I suggest you do it yourself first and see what comes up, basically nothing. |

What DJ was provided was a quick response to his query.
However, it appears your expectation of forum responses are that they also magically intuit and reply also to your unasked questions. You undoubtedly will continue being disappointed, and thus needlessly rude, whist operating under your paradigm of assuming that forum members possess crystal balls and can read your mind. You would have received a response as to who this seller is either open forum or PM had you simply asked. Likewise you would have received help with using advanced Google search techniques had you asked, which, incidentally, brings up the attached Ron collection results. Quote:

Apology
SemperFi,
Yes you are right, a thousand apologies for my rudeness. I was frustrated going round in circles, and took my ire out on you. Again, I apologise. Leo |
