Default King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry

Anyone seen lugs like these before ?
They seem to be more like what you would get on a shoulder title than a cap badge ?

It is part of the shoulder title worn 1921-54. Bugle over KOYLI.

I had one of these as well and it fitted the s/t brass backs very well. The cap badge was identical except for the method of fitting.

Not specifically no, but that doesn't mean to say that collars or shoulder titles couldn't have been worn on the cap as it could be got away with due to there being no size of design difference.

But if you are a pureist and want one that was 100% worn on the cap get a slidered version.

Personally I'd keep it as a gap filler 'till a slidered one came along cheapish (£7-8 tops for a really nice one).
