Default Liverpool Pals "B.P. & Co Ltd. B'ham"

Hi guys

I've been offered a Liverpool Pals, maker marked on slider "B.P. & Co Ltd. B'ham"
I've not come across this variant before, so does anyone know if this is a legitimate maker mark for this badge?

Thanks

Colin

Hi Colin, I have only seen 2 or 3 of theses Make Marks, but all have been stamped with the "B'HAM" end much shallower than the "BP" end of the Mark.

It may be nothing, (3 is hardly a proper sample) but just thought I'd mention it

Cheers, Tim

Hi Colin,
I have one of these mm'd badges which is mis-stamped and still has traces of gilding, which I am happy with. I will post an image later.
if you look in the maker mark section this mm is suggested as being to Bodill Parker and Co but may probably be Bent and Parker I am sure Julian KLR may comment further on this.

Thanks for the replies guys!
I've also been made aware of the fact that the fakes have an additional "T" making it "LTD", and not "LD", like the good one in Tim's (Chipper) album.

Cheers

Colin
