Puzzle monogram Firmin button
Another of those complicated intertwined monograms!
The back is marked, . FIRMIN . LONDON Brass and diameter is 5/8” (16mm). Any suggestion would be welcome |

Hi Smiffy,
Could you post it again rotated as I think it should be similar to the French circle but without the dot, open at the top, in saying that it may be easier to de-cypher the monogram that way up. Best Hiram

its always one i never know as its down in David J.Froggatt railway buttons badges and uniforms as Neath Pontardawe & Brynammon railway has he got it wrong?. ive seen it sold as both railway and bank before.

My guess is that he took the information from an old collection or from correspondence. My suggestion: forget about it.
