I feel pretty lucky to have got this badge, I was just last week looking at an example in the Lancs Infantry Museum which from the front could be seen the pin attachment which I believe is good sign. I have only seen a couple with the pin over the past couple of years so was pleasantly surprised to see this listed by a dealer on Friday.

I too have had some nice items from them, their Fag Packet packaging is second to none.

This has make me smile this morning.Your right my father never smoked.I use to. but if i smoked that amount i think i may have died.We get people to collect the fag packets we have to think of our carbon foot print and recycle them.They fit perfect through the royal mail slot when posting .Paul glad you liked the glengarry Cheers Garry

i think if anyone has ever bought from the shottons, then you would know the cig packaging. i think i still have a few packs in q box somewhere.

Well spotted ! You are quite right of course in your assumption that I have never purchased anything from Clanfield ( I have enough fag-packets of my own thanks) but I do know them by reputation and am a frequent visitor to their excellent web-site, where I keep a watchful eye on them (and others).
