Default Almost 2 Years in the Making

I am very excited to finally be able to share this with you. I originally started with 6 tartan backed badges that I got some 30 or so years ago. But as I looked at them, I got to thinking what a great display a collection of Scottish badges with their proper tartan would make.

So I started doing some research, and lots of badge and tartan hunting.

And over time the collection was coming together.

And after 3 days of final efforts I am proud to share the finished results.

I have a great number of people to thank for help, gifts of badges, offerings of badges, for tartan and for information. I will just say thank you to all of you as I am sure I would leave someone out! But a very special thanks to Bill who was my mentor and adviser throughout the entire process!!!

Terry

Thank you everyone. I actually enjoyed the project from the beginning and learned a great deal about Scottish badges and tratan backings. Who'd have ever thought you'd be excited about a fabric swatch arriving in the mail!!!

I enjoyed it so much and think it looks so good that I am not wanting to do a similar display of Scottish regimental TRFs. Is there any kind of source out there as to what I should be looking for?

Terry
