Default Nederland 'exile' badges

Hi,
Could someone help with identying whether these two Nederland badges are good or not. First one with JRGAUNT LONDON slider and second one brooch pin backed.

Hi Steven,

IMO the one with slider is ok. The other one I would leave as such pins were not affixed to these badges. Possiby this was a later repair but still I would leave that one. The only ones with pins but then in brass were made by Stokes in Australia.

I agree with JB. The Gaunt beret badge in my opinion is original as is the second. You may see traces of where a slider has been under the pin hinge. May have been converted for a girlfriend. PY.

The Gaunt stamp should be 11 mm wide from the top of my head, replicated badges have a wider stamp.

There are three different OR Gaunt lions, two with makers mark and one without. This badge was worn from Ca. 1940 to 1950, so only half their time were they worn by the Dutch Army in exile, the other half by the regular Dutch Army. Attached are the two different makers marks, I have no reason to believe one or the other is not OK.
Still looking for the unmarked one.

I agree 100%, both Gaunt marks are 100% genuine!
