Fascinating thread and well researched. I have always wondered about the chnage from black to w/m badges and had thought that it may have been lkater than that when the London Irish formally beame affiliated to the RUR. I am gald to be corrected with the much earlier date but confirming the same premise of affiliation.

I will transfer this information into a London Irish thread in the Infantry section for posterity.
