Really appreciate prompt response. Just spotted it this morning on EvilBay with some other WWI bits - they look okay and medals attributed to a Bootneck but items do not necessarily connect as a group IMHO so just wondered about the patch.

This is the reverse and front of an attributed example.
As mentioned, there are variants, but it is definitely right to exercise caution.
