3rd Dragoon Guards shoulder title question

Hello good people of the forum.
I am at present putting together a frame of 3rd Dragoon guards badges.
I have seen on a couple of photos of the 3DG's in the Boer war and they are wearing what appears to be a three piece title, 3 above DG, whether the DG is separate is unclear.
Does anyone have an example of this title, or a photo of it being worn please?
Also, when did the standard 3DG title come in and did it replace the separate one or were they both worn?
Last question, has anyone seen a 3 piece one for sale anywhere please?

The usual title was indeed a two or three piece one, a separate D and G or a single DG with separate numeral are the norm and I've encountered both many times, for the Corps of Dragoon Guards, whilst I'd be tempted to say that the DG is later, I would think both were certainly in wear during the Anglo Boer War.

Thank you Frank for your kind response.
The 3DG title ( non separate) is there a way of knowing if it's an early title or not, different loops or something?
I'd love to see an example of the 3 or 2 piece title.

I'd have to have a proper look, I ended you with a lot of titles from South Africa, you will find two distinctive fittings on the reverse of the numerals and both the DG and separate D and G, the hexagonal and the more rectangular with a slightly rounded end, but, not normally the copper wire loops.

To be quite honest I think both fittings ran together in this period, for example, the 5th Lancers wore a 5 with a separate L, but, they also had 5L, with copper loops certainly prior to Vereeniging.
People generally associate hexagonal ones with the Great War, but, you often encounter them upon titles worn by regiments that went on to change their pattern after Anglo Boer War.
