Default Brass shoulder boards

Has anyone got any ideas of who and when these were used.

Probably North Salopian Yeomanry Cavalry, officers shoulder scales, late 19th Century.

Roy will probably know.

Identical pair on eBay listed as: "North Salopian Yeomanry Cavalry Officer's Shoulder Scales, c. 1840 (Shropshire)"

Link Here: https://www.ebay.ie/itm/North-Salopi...QAAOSwPfVZj0O7

Not my area so could totally accurate attribution, or totally spurious and I wouldn't know the difference!

Thanks for the replies, I only picked them up for a small fraction of the eBay pair and seemed silly not to, not something I'd usually bother looking at.

They were worn on a single breasted frock coat in undress 1840s to 1850s.
