Auction Find of WW1 cloth rank badges?
Recent find, can anyone identify these? I know some are Engineers. I don't usually collect cloth. The brass button holders are marked W. Scully Montreal. Also a nice trench whistle.

Hi Will, Nice selection of badges. I think most of them are from the Second World War. The sgt's chevrons may be WW1, but I have also seen them on khaki drill WW2 uniforms. The WO2 and WO1 badges appear to be WW2 issue. The engineers grenades are nice. They were used for some rank badges in the RCE.

If the crown on its own is WW2 would it not be a WO 111 rank badge?
The very small crown Appears to be that of a staff/ colour sergeant. That is if they are British Badges.
