Default Antique shop buy.

Hi all,
Just bought these from an antique shop, they were fixed to a very old army belt. Hoping they are genuine? The Som L I badge is a nice striking on lugs is it a early Vic/Edwardian one? The guards badge is white metal maybe silver plate on brass lugs, is that an NCO's badge?
Hope I have not wasted my cash although they were approx half normal price.Lots more on the belt, although the prices were all over the place so if these are considered genuine then I may purchase more.
John

Unfortunately, the only badge there that looks like it might be ok is the Shropshire in my opinion.

The Somerset LI you mean. It looks as if it may have had north south lugs fitted previously or the lug and little tang.
Have you tested it ,to see if its silver ?

I too can see the where there may have been vertical lugs or even a slider?
The lugs on it now are fake replacements.

The Somerset LI looks indeed like it had top and bottom lugs at one time. The slightly smaller lettering on the scroll is identical to the badge in K & K 607.
The East Lancs is all brass economy version.
The guards badge is silver.

The silver coloured Coldstream Guards type badge features in a couple of threads on the forum.
The one I have is stamped "STERLING" although it appears to be of white metal.
