Pile of cr*p, typical of the lots offered by many provincial, non specialist militaria auctions these days.

regards

Agreed, this auction house seems to be a dumping ground for fake and or made up tat specifically targeting the gullible and those lacking knowledge....

And at 300.00 pounds, can anyone confirm the validity of this little item # 154555902944 on the popular auction site. Both my RA and RMA “Plastic” badges have a very flat back. The item on offer looks as if it were poured rather than injected. D.J.

I can make the following points:-

My example has a flat back which appears to have been almost rubbed flat, like, I assume you mean.

The seller sells tat and very over priced badges.

I dont recall seeing a fake plastic RA badge before.

Taking into account all of the above I wouldnt be interested in it not withstanding the fact I sold one only 2 weeks ago for £220.00.

regards

Much talked about pile of junk which sadly is becoming the staple of some U.K. auction houses who really don’t care what they sell including Ghandi’s spectacles posted through their letter box in one recent case. No wonder we have an international reputation for Caveat Emptor.
