Default Shoulder plate opinions ....

Hi
Curious on opinions on this one , looks like something's been cut off bottom of feathers ???
Any ideas , made-up ....or period ??

Made up.

Period plates don't have the rear buttons cast solid, they rivet them down over a central stem.
The badge is Victorian and so badly positioned it would have been rejected if it was meant for an officer.
The XX's are badly stamped (spot the restriking). A period piece would have been engraved
Most plates with a rimmed edge have them riveted on rather than cast.

Basically a fancy dress piece.
