Default 221 SQUADRON RCT AFCENT TRF

Hi folks,

I've been rejigging some RCT stuff and thought i'd better double check this with you.
I've had it some years and it was described to me as 221 Sqn RCT (V) who although a Scottish based TA unit were allocated to AFCENT, hence they were entitled to wear the AFCENT badge.

This badge as you can see appears to be the standard sort of British manufactured TRF/formation sign as opposed to the larger badges worn by AFCENT and other NATO formations.

it is mounted on velcro and measures 50mm x 50mm

I haven't seen it referenced anywhere and there's no mention of it in "Badges of the Empires Waggoners"

Is my info right or am I well off the mark.........again!
Cheers
Sean

Hiya Sean,

Does this answer your question ??

Whether that is correct patch I cannot say, but the shield is definitely a statement for the Sqn's heritage.

Many thanks Ken I'm leaning towards them wearing it, as I say the badge is a British made item.
Cheers
