"C" Squadron QDG - 3 Commando Brigade award 2003
Can anyone confirm the form of the 3 Commando Brigade sign that was awarded to "C" Squadron, 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards by the Royal Marines in 2003? It was awarded to mark the Royal Marines' esteem for the support that "C" Squadron gave to the brigade during the fighting on the Al Faw peninsula in Iraq. The distinction was ordered to be removed sometime in 2005.

The Bde let them wear the Bde's Cdo dagger. This was the khaki square formation sign common to everyone in the Cdo bde and not the Commando course qualification badge aka the dettol badge in red on a blue triangle.
