Default WRAC Guards Depot Badge

Hi Guys,

I got this today, never seen one in metal before just AA.

Is this OK or a copy? Nicely made and proper pin fixing.

Regards, Bill

There are a vast amount of badges appearing on the market that belong to units etc., that disappeared well before the introduction of badges made in this sort of metal. When these were in use I never saw a metal one.

Marc

Wrong again! See post 5.

Nope . Only ever in a/a. I presume that it was no longer worn after the WRAC disappeared.

The badge is fine, they were introduced just before options for change?

Bill,
They were probably one of the first "New Metal" badges (?), although not a cap badge. Yes it is a nice badge to have!
