Hi, all. I`m Lee, new to collecting British military badges. Previously collected British military swords from English Civil war to present. This has become prohibitively expensive and much harder to source.
Grateful to any guidance and information this excellent forum can provide.

G'day Lee

Welcome to the forum from down under. Tell us what type of badges you want to collect and there are lots of people who can help you.

I too have a few swords and know what you mean.

Regards

Phil.

Hi Lee,

Welcome to a very good forum, there are a lot of very helpful members so you should be OK !!

I don't have any swords but that's because I know what you are talking about as well, some badges will fall into the same category !!

Good luck.

Dave in Tamworth.....

Hi everyone,I'm jembo, born in Dublin, live in Devon.I joined the forum last year and have only just got round to introducing myself after a bout of bad health. Although I'm not an expert,I am particularly interested in The Irish VC Recipients and hope to do some serious postings on the subject. Looking forward to makeing new friends on the forum.

Hi Phil, Dave and all. Great forum and source of info. Interested in light cavalry badges and would be grateful if any one knows of any collectors fairs in my neck of the woods. Would like to get hands on experience as there seems to be so many dodgy ones out there. Used to go to many fairs and auctions when I collected swords and learnt that you can't beat actually handling the items, fake as well as genuine.
