Default Australian Shooting Medals & Badges, Bisley

I picked up these two framed displays last year. The 1960's shooting award medals and badges to L J McInerney.
Yet to do any firm research on the recipient and any pointers on sites to view would be appreciated.
You have to admire the quality of the badges/patches.

Thanks bc.
My initial searching has him as LG McInerney on a Rifle Asscn site. Im hoping he has a researchable military record. Hopefully someone will pop in shortly and throw me an easy path to search.

Laurie McInerney was a member of the South Australian Rifle Association. He won Victorian Queens prize badges in 1965, 69, 72, 77 and 78. I suggest you contact the SARA in Adelaide who will know him and see if there is an obituary.
