Alan, I think it was not Albert Steptoe who had the belt, but his son Harold, I always tried to see what badges were, but never really got a good view of what was on the belt.

Also the late Ronnie Barker who played Clarence the short sighted removal man had a superb belt which had as I remember had WWI badges such as the Tank Corps among others on it. I would think they were probably all original as film props used to have some good militaria in the past.
