Default Royal Scots Territorial 1912

Hi guys, can anybody tell me which cap badge a Royal Scot territorial would wear if he enlisted in 1912? I have seen 2 different types, the Bi-metal and the all brass one!

Also, what would be a fair price to pay for a genuine badge in reasonable condition?

Thanks,

Greg

If he was in the 4th or 5th Bn then he would have worn this badge in 1912

If he was in 6 or 7th TF Bn then this one in walking out.

but the bi-metal one in Khaki.

From 1914 then the bi-metal one would have been the norm for the TA following its expansion and then changing to the 1916 all brass one.

Simon.

Thanks

He was in the 10th Cyclist Battalion, but ended up with the 12th Bn in France.

The standard bi-metal badge for both. About £8 is a fair price.
