Royal Artillery OSD Collar Shape and Lug Position

Hi Guys. Just a quick question for the purposes of curation. This RA OSD collar recently acquired has a markedly less rounded outer flame and different lug position from all other OSD grenades I've seen. Is there anything to be gleaned from this re country, use or date? Or is it just a less common variation of the standard RA OSD? Many thanks, Mike

Hi CB. Thanks for the reply! I've had a suggestion it could be Canadian. I guess it could be an RA and/or RCA variant? It was just odd I had never seen one like this before. I will keep digging. All the best and a Happy New Year! Mike
