Default Large Kent and London Yeomanry badge???

Bought this on ebay I assumed it was a collar badge, for me it's much too large. See images compared to a 50p coin.
Any ideas as to it's use?
Tony.

As I understand it these were made from a combination of the 3rd/4th CLY arm badge and a Kent Constabulary collar badge. Neat job.
