Large Increase in Overseas Postage
The cost of sending a badge via 1st Class Large Letter within the UK rises by 0.15p from 0.75p to 0.90p on 30th April 12, not a huge rise but still 20% .
However to send the same badge overseas, via small packets will see a massive rise: Europe goes from £1.49 to £2.70 Rest of World goes from £2.07 to £3.30 here is a link to the new prices. Andy |

I recently sent a Service Dress (Jacket and Trousers) to Germany, it cost over £15, small packet airmail, I asked if it would be cheaper by land, the reply £35. The recipient in Germany sent to me, 2 Service Dress Jackets, 1 Greatcoat, 1 Jumper, 2 ammo pouches, a leather belt with buckle and a packet of badges, cost to send to me 25 Euros (£20).

Hi Guys,
I have recently been borrowing rare A/A badges for investigation often using courier services from the UK to New Zealand. One UK company charges around 66 pounds for this service. When I send them back the cost is $NZ44 or 22 pounds. Why the UK end has to charge three time the NZ amount is belond me. The service and distance travelled remains the same... Regards Chris |
