Fusilier Brigade, RRF Field Officer's Forage Cap.
Provenance to the officer who also owned this Foresters Brigade beret:
https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...ad.php?t=70066 A Herbert Johnson cap from the 1950's, (marked as being by appointment to the late King George VI). It has originally been badged to the Royal Warwickshire Regiment and / or the Forester Brigade prior to being rebadged to the Fusilier Brigade with no change from that badge when the regiments of the Brigade merged to form the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. |

Nicely shaped, heavy, I'm not sure if the badge is a bit larger than later RRF ones, I'll have to compare.

Hi Leigh, I've an identical one with the same small Warwickshire buttons on the side. Could I enquire either publically or via PM how much yours cost?

Certainly, I'll pm you details of the officer and the price I paid for the cap (I have to get to computer to find some of the details).
I also have a field officers cap from a different source which is badged to Forester Brigade, buttoned to Royal Warwickshire Regiment. |
